Hi,
I have an iva set up with Debt Free Direct and as of today have made my 60th and final payment to DFD. The lady i spoke to on the phone told me to cancel the standing order and she will begin processing completion of my account. Just curious, how long will it take for this to be done and dusted? and to get my letter of clompletion. feels good to cancel the standing order after all this time :) she didnt go into to much details about the process of what will take place.

Congratulations on making the final payment. It may take a little while for the finalisation to be completed. DFD can be a little slow on this front.

Hopefully Declan can pick up on this.

I can see the end of mine, 2 more jumps to go and then the finishing post. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting very bright, the future is just 8 short weeks away. I will say the last 5 years have flown by, but the last few months are dragging, its not that i am struggling, its just that i want it done yesterday, a bit like waiting for christmas when i was 7 or 8 years old.
IVA completed 15-3-2011

Congrats on getting to the final payment it must feel good! Looking forward to mine in 2 weeks time, when standing order will be cancelled!!!

They should produce a final report within 2 months following the final review date and issue the completion certificate at the same time.
