When I sw the mistake, I checked a colleague of my hubbys as they have the same IP, and theirs was the same as ours, with the correct IP but the wrong company!
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

I didn't realise the register was on google! I've just googled my name and luckily nothing came up on the first three pages...thank god for so many self-publicists with my name!!!
The IP for Payplan also works for that company I believe.

I think that everybody with DFD should check the insolvency register as I too, as a client of DFD am now showing on the register as being with RSM TENON RECOVERY LIMITED with the main IP being a Derek John Oakley - it's about time this website was abolished permanently!
It's bad enough we're on there so the least they can do is get it right. I understand human error etc., and wonder if they'll put it down again for a few weeks whilst it's remedied if enough people bring it to their attention.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I can't understand why the register has to be of public record - this would be nice to know if anyone has the answer?!. Why on earth can't this be kept private along the lines of the information held by the credit reference agencies.
I had a poke around the register to see what info was there and found a a few people I know locally who are on it [:I] maybe if people had to register to use it or maybe pay a fee this would make it a bit more private!
What if you owed money to individuals or local concerns rather than big companies? I think it does need to be in the public domain but companies are using it in the wrong way a lot of te time.
You are right RHB. The policy of having the insolvency register publically available really boils down to allowing potential lenders and suppliers who may not have immediate access to on line credit checks to protect themselves from making potentially bad lending decisions.
However, I do share the sentiment of most of the posts on this topic that if there is going to be a register, it should show the correct information. I hope the Insolvency Service are giving the problem top priority.
I think this must just be something to do with DFD as my details are correct and I'm with Payplan.
