It is a good emergency fund, and most IPs will welcome you starting a savings account.

OK Time to start waiting .
I now have my Creditors meeting date set for the 15th December , so thankfully it is before Christmas .
Hopefully It gets accepted and I can start the New Year on a positive footing .

Thanks Jan .
I would of thought that letters and phone calls would of stopped now that a date has been set but I am still getting calls at work which the chap on the switchboard refuses to pass on , but it's getting embarassing trying to explain them away !

Unfortunately the letters and calls won't stop until after the approval.

Well this was a pleasant surprise waiting in my email this evening when I returned from work .

"Hi Shane,

Great news. A company called The Insolvency Exchange (TIX) has voted on all of your accounts, accepting the IVA with some standard modifications. You won't have any trouble accepting them, could you have a look and send me an e-mail to that effect?

What this means is that I will be able to close the meeting on the dot tomorrow, effectively the IVA has already been approved but we have to stick to the regulations. I'll need 10 minutes whenever you're free to run through the outcome and set up your direct debit.

Regards, "

The only mods to the proposal were to nominees and supervisors fees .
So effectivley Its all gone through and I have been accepted !

Shane

Oh shane thats brilliant news, so pleased for you, we had to reply on our mods straight away today so that it could close the meeting and start the IVA.

Really surprised you found out early, who are you with.

At least you can sleep easier tonight.

Sounds as though they are the only ones, but it is good news, and I'm looking forward to reading the confirmation post tomorrow.
