If it's your husband who is taking the contract out, they should only check him and not you.

They won't have a clue who is using the phone. If it's a new contract then that maybe why they need the extra details.

I agree with Jan, they'll have no idea who is using the phone.

I think companies are stricter now about needing proof of address and proof of ID, so I wouldn't worry.

My hubby has no phone of his own, but if his daughter needs to speak to him via a mobile then he uses mine. It just comes off my allowance.

Last summer we had a thing through the post from virgin (we are with them for tv and landline etc) and it said we could have a contract and there would be no problems with credit checks. I didn't believe it - but I called and they said that cos we were a customer even if something came up on the credit check they would still accept us. So we are on contract now. Its only £10 a month for 500 texts, 100 minutes anywhere and unlimited minutes to virgin mobiles and landlines. x
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

I got one with Vodafone at the start of year 2 of my IVA and they were one of the creditors listed in the IVA agreement, a friend of mine who works for them told me after a year of chasing they just write it off and as i understand they never made a claim against my IVA either.

I just filled out a form on line and was approved! had a contact with them now for 3 years.

You were very lucky then as Vodaphone are notoriously picky when it comes to contracts.

I wouldn't have risked taking out a contract with a creditor!
