Surely there must always be a "final" Annual Review at the end of Year 5 - or else how can the I.P. be satisfied that any Overtime, Bonuses, Windfalls etc. have correctly been paid over during months 49 - 60?? I don't see that this is any big deal - we will all still receive the same documents (Pay Slips, Bank Statements, P60 etc.) in Year 5 as in Years 1-4 - no problem there.

The IP should not close a case until they have satisfied themselves that all monies due to creditors have been duly paid.

Declan has not amended his out office since before xmas - I emailed him about three weeks ago and he responded and joked about it.

I too emailed him this week, but other than the out of office, I have not received a response from him.

He is extremely effective in getting things done for people - I hope he hasn't been "told off" for queue jumping customers from this forum in anyway ! I have another name of someone in DFD that has been very helpul and will email them ask if he is still about.

I have met Declan and know that he takes his membership of this forum very seriously and would not knowingly abandon those DFD clients who need his assistance. I am sure that if his regular job has got busier, then DFD will put someone else on the forum - as Declan has told me how valuable the feedback they receive from clients in this public medium can be to their business.

Hi All
Sorry - there does appear to be some confusion with the majority of it been my fault! My out of office for some reason does say Oct 22nd, not sure why or how and I will get it amended. I was actually out of the office (back home in Ireland) for most of last week and just back yesterday.
I have a few emails in my inbox which I’m going to get through this evening from our clients and for those waiting for a response I do apologise for the delay but I will get back to you asap.
Also, as most of you know, I’m more than happy to help as best I can and will always, where possible help our clients with any issue they have and will continue to do so. I will update my email address on my profile to ensure its correct.

Lulu - got your email and I will respond this evening.
Pelder - you would have made an excellent detective!
Mel - Looking forward to the Ireland v Wales match soon!

Thanks

Thanks Declan. I will email the original query again, if required, it was just for clarification really regarding the final review process before closure of an IVA. The DFD customer section currently refers to 4 annual reviews. I will give you a chance to get through your inbox first though!

Don't mention rugby! It is a very sore point in this neck of the woods - and can you believe that my husband has organised for us to visit one of his Army pals who lives in Aberdeen on the day of the game!!

Best not to mention the football results from last night Mel. Fear not, rugby is a very different game!

Hi Declan
Thanks very much for your swift response to my email which I sent this morning, I have responded.

Great to hear no more reviews now we are so near the end, although I know there are still some 'loose ends' to tie up it makes it seem more 'real' somehow. I would also like to thank you for kindly offering to ensure that closure goes through as quickly as possible once our final payment has been made.

Although we have encountered one or two bumps along the way we are nearly there and my husband and I are both agreed that the IVA process has definitely been the best way for us. A little scary though to think how quickly the last 5 years have gone by.

To Neil who originally raised this post, if you read this, I hope you have all the the answers regarding your query now. If not, try sending an email to Declan, he has been very helpful in providing clarification.
