It the same with all walk of life - sometimes what people say and how they say it, is not the way it was meant.
But add anxiety and stress to the equation, and its hardly suprising how things get mis interpreted.

OT

Have a look at this (NHS) approved Wesite - you may find all the clinical information and support you need from this

Lots of doctors tell women to get pregnant to sort out their plumbing! It is bizarre because while the medical thinking is perfectly sound, you can't have a baby just to sort out a medical condition!!

I heard of a debt counsellor the other day who told a client he would be better of being divorced! Not meant, but just the way it came out. We are all guilty!

Once they have had the family - if problems still persist they then can remove the uterus

Had my bits removed years ago - but I didn't want anymore kids so I didn't mind and it was the best thing I ever did!

I suggest that you get the property valuation done on the basis of a forced sale, obtaing a current mortgage and secured loan redemption statement and send them to your IP. If you have a loan to value of more than 70% loan to value, there is no hope of you re-mortgaging at this moment in time.
thanks all for an entertaining email chain :-)

I have my current yearly mortgage statement, requested my secured loan redemption and just booked evaluation for tuesday. Will be speaking to IP today with details as it will probably fall outside 28 days request time but I wouldn't of thought that was a major issue.

Scary stuff. Ultimately if a remortgage is nigh on impossible I would settle for 12 extra months extra paying. After which I will put some additional money into my Secured loan payment to pay it off faster.

You probably won't get a remortgage at the moment but twelve months extra is probably better.

Are you in an iva shalaw? I'm just wondering what your interest is in this.

A 100% equity release is ridiculous and could never have been achieved from day!! I suspect that this was introduced by way of creditor modification, rather than your IP firm?

Whether it is 70%, 85% or 100% is irrelevant, as the likelihood of anyone being able to get a remortgage whilst in an IVA right now is pretty remote.

What does it say in your proposal OT about what happens if you cannot raise any money? Extension of a further year? Creditors meeting?
Hi Melanie, It says possible extension of 12 months. With regards to remortgage I have all documents in hand now and will do the remortgage applications online today.

No clue who to pick though. Am doing one with YBS (current lender) Max LTV is 85% with them.

Hi - pick at random. Who's the first bank that pops into your head? You are very very unlikely to get a mortgage so it's just a formality really. Let us know how you get on! xx

Just did Nationwide and as expected they declined (85% LTV).

You probably have to try another one but the answer is likely to be the same.
