Oh just one other thing, inaiva, where will I find the letter template on the site? I looked at the menu but couldn't see it.

Oh that's brilliant! Than you!

So the record should show that I defaulted on the date the IVA was agreed but also that no further monies are due.

I have to say that when people have referred to an incorrect default date, it has puzzled me as to what that meant..

Exactly, and they are obliged to update your file. It may take time though. Keep a copy of everything you send, send it all recorded delivery, and if they don't play ball, or seem to take forever to get back to you to say it is done, do not hesitate to escalate it to the Information Commissioner.

That's interesting Skippy, as the section at the top of my report says that it cannot be changed without a court order. Perhaps different rules for BR but would have thought it to be the same.

Then again Skip - they have had horrendous problems since updating the register so perhaps that is why things haven't been updating.

If they are anything like "our lot", they have "improved the IT system" ... hence it no longer works !!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Have sat here this morning and written to over a dozen creditors that have posted defaults on our credit files after the IVA started - here's hoping they change them ! Copies of certificate of completion are heading there way !

They have to change them if the defaults are after the date of IVA acceptance.

Hi Again,

Just thought you would like to know that I got a reply from the insolvency register. Apparently, my name is still on it because my IP never sent his final report or my completion certificate. I am going to send them a copy myself, so hopefully I should get removed soonish.

I'm glad you've found out the reason May07, and hopefully it will now be easily sorted and you will be off the register x
