received an email yesterday informing me that my case is now complete at administration level and ready to be passed to proposals team.
the email stated it might be a few weeks before i hear anything further from them. any idea how long a few weeks may be, how long does it usually take for the proposal to be drawn up?
i feel more positive now knowing things are progressing, i am just so eager to have a creditors meeting date set and hopefully all being well move forward with my life.

IVA accepted 6th May 2011, Full and Final accepted 17th April 2012.
maybe i will give them a call after the weekend, although they did say a few weeks, so maybe i should give it a few weeks before calling. I'm just so impatient, and dont want to come accross as pushy, and to be fair both tina and tamsyn from mels team have been very patient with me and my questions up to this point, so i am sure i have nothing to be concerned about.
maybe lem would be able to let me know how long it took for her proposal to come through, once the proposals team received all her documentation?
anyway i'm rambling.
thanks again kat68

Mel's team don't usually mind what questions are asked, they are so patient and professional, I'm with Mel and her team and can't imagine I'd ever have a criticism of their service. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
hiya lesley,
i know mels team wouldn't mind, they have been fantastic so far, and i have already been told by them a couple of weeks. to me (miss impatient) a couple of weeks is about two, just wondering what others thought?

Impatience is my middle name too!! Sit tight hun. Sometimes I find it's healthy to ramble in print as it stops the obsessions swirling around in my head. I would be on the phone Monday but agree with you that it is probably better to wait a bit if you can resist!!
Mel's team don't mind you emailing or phoning them - they are one of the best at always being there for you no matter what you want to ask.

thanks for that corfu,
i know i'm terribly impatient.
but i guess like everyone in the build up to an IVA i feel like my future is dependent upon this and i'd like to know everything is ok.
i suppose a good thing is while i'm waiting for the paperwork i am able to put some money aside for emergencies.
thought i would start as i mean to go on, and so have lived this month with a simular allowance i imagine i will have whilst in an IVA. my new bank account looks so healthy! and i have loved shopping with my own money and not a credit card, it certainly is a good feeling.
i just hope now that IVA is accepted and i can continue this way.

Hi. I am not with Mel but took them 17 days from agreeing to proposal to send out final papers. Then the meeting date was set 17 days later(25th March). HTH and good luck. It's a terrible time waiting isn't it?
I can't speak for everyone here, but I chose Vincent Bond to propose my IVA. I first contacted Andy Davie on the 3rd Oct 2010, draft proposal was with me within two days. It took me a while to gather all the documents together (due to some creditors being a bit difficult and slow), about 4 weeks I think. Creditor's meeting was held on the 3rd Dec, so in all, from start to finish it was 8 weeks. [:)]
Vincent Bond do come highly recommended and of course Andy runs the forum and posts on here so is usually around to answer any queries which is a good thing.
