CSA are totally useless - my stepson can give chapter and verse on them!

I was actually told as I worked and there was no benefit to the government, then there was no interest for the CSA to chase payments from my ex. so they didn't!!
As hard as it was at the time, I managed and what I never had, I didn't have to say thank you for.
i rang the csa as i didnt trust my ex to keep regular payments they take his money from his wages each month so at least i know im getting something and can budget accordingly.
The old system was much fairer! The money is for the kids - not for you and the absent father should pay towards their upkeep.
At least you do know that you'll get something Kerry.

My son pays for his twins it's taken direct from his wages, they know exactly what he's earning and therefore no arrears can accumulate and ex is guaranteed her money, however, they're not too swift on paying and she's often paid late which is totally out of his control. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
You'd think they'd be able to get their act together now wouldn't you?

He would be better off coming out of it Lesley & setting up a direct debit for the amount. At least his ex would know what day of te mont she will get it.
Even though I don't rate the CSA - much better to go through the official channels.

My friend started off b using them but as te dust settled with her ex they now have a private agreement & because it is coming from his account he can prove it has been paid to her.
