Charges vary from company to company, some charge a set up fee & some do not.

Most firms do not charge up front fees and anything else is agreed between the IP and the creditors and drawn from your monthly payment.

As Miachael has said, most IVA companies do not charge anything to set up and IVA. There are of course fees to pay (Nominee and Supervisor fees) however these will be deducted from your agreed monthly payment so you will not end up paying anything more than the monthly payment you can afford.

Hi
Fees are dictated by creditors and are approx 4-5 times the monthly payment for nominee fees and then 15% of the remaining funds paid in to cover the administration of the arrangement.
Fees have been driven down by creditors in recent years

Not a good plan to try and choose a firm to represent you based on cost. Fees as has been said aren't really important from a debtors point of view. Talk to several companies and use one you feel comfortable with.

You will find (as Andy Suggested) the fee's are very standard throughout the industry as they are dictated by the creditors and regardless of which firm you choose the fee's once approved will all the the same.

There are a handful of company that will charge 'set up' fees if you are asked to pay anything before going into your IVA then you need get a clear understanding of this is for and does it form part your IVA payments, if it doesnt then you want to speak to a few differnt companies before making your choice.
