Hi all our IVA has failed and we have been waiting for our certificate but it has nearly been a year???? Does it normally take this long

Hi natasha.

Are you sure it has failed? Have you checked the Insolvency Register to see if you are still on there?

Have your creditors been chasing you?

It is still on register, but we have not paid into it since we told them we couldnt afford it last June. We have had no hassle from any creditors or any contact from our iva company

Try emailing your IP direct via this link:

He or she should be able to tell you what is going on.

Hopefully one of the experts will be on later to advise.

You will need that letter so that you can file for bankruptcy. Speak to your IP as soon as possible.
