I know what you mean. My little brain cells worked overtime trying to store as much info as I possibly could!
IVA was always the first and (hopefully) final option for us too!
59 months is better than 60!! :)

Welcome from me as well Timmy, glad you found the right solution!

Please do tell who you are with - it's good to see posts about different IP companies and people's experiences with them.

Hi Kallis3, thanks for the welcome! My partner and I went through Debt Free Direct, i did a bit of research before and they seemed to have good reviews. From the first phone call on a rainy night in March through to now they have been very good. One thing i liked was the fact they send a courier to collect your paper work and make sure they have everything which i think helped speed up the process a bit.
I now have this page book marked so will be on here most days.

Welcome Timmy,
There is always someone around who will answer any questions you may, which is the brilliant thing about the forum, we dont all know the answers to every question but most of us know a little bit and we are all in the same boat, it is fantastic to have a non judgemental friendly place to come to.
I wish I had been as organised as you and did research before we went into ours, we just took the first company that offered us a glimmer of light although I haven't had any real problems with the company I am with, I get a little paranoid regarding the amount of people that do have problems with them. [:D]

Same here Pandy - we were just going to swap DMP companies but were then offered an IVA.

Thankfully everything is running smoothly at the moment so no regrets with the company but in hindsight I'd have done a lot more research before choosing.
