Thanks for all your help, so if i calculate my IP fees and deduct these this should give me more idea of a best offer, as i stated all i think the third party can do is around 5000, is it worth a shot ?
Hi all, well ive done it the f&f offer has gone in,the third party agreed to £6000 so thats what i have offered, its a waiting game now my IP said around 3 months for the creditors meeting.
Fingers crossed swan12. Hopefully it will be accepted.

Hi, all just to let you know F & F was accepted at £6000, so its over at long last a massive lesson learnt!!!
Could anyone advise me on next step IP has said it will take 6-8 weeks for paperwork to be recieved, do i need to do anything once this is recieved to improve my record or credit rating etc ?
As regards your credit record, the iva will show for the full six years so no need to rush to clear the record.
Request a copy from all three agencies to see what is on there initily

Great news swan12 - even though you had doubts about your IP's supportiveness at least they got this through for you.
Best wishes,
