I'm just starting my fifth year, and it's been very hard, I've made every payment, and my wife who I met before the IVA started has been so supportive. I've only just found this forum and never realised so many people were paying IVA's the support on here is amazing.

Hi Mike,

You don't realise do you? You have to realise as well that for every person who has found the forum, there are more who are either looking in or have never looked for us. It's quite frightening really!#

Well done for getting this far, hope your last year goes well.

Hi Mike,
It really is a great forum, if I hadn`t found it I don`t know how I would have ended up. The advice and support from the forum posters is incredible.
Well done on getting to your final year...You can see the light at the end of the tunnel now[:)]

I have to admit this forum has been invaluable to me and I'm not even at the start of an IVA. Well done on getting so far & nearly finished, wow, must feel good!

I'd be lost without the forum now. I've been addicted to it for years!

I was lucky, I found this forum last year even before we ever thought of going into an IVA. Reading posts prior to making the decision I suppose prepared me for the things that were to come, the phone calls, the ups, the downs, the emotions just about everything really. It is being a massive help.

It has to be one of the best and friendliest support forums going. It's well moderated as well.

I know i do get on my high horse from time to time! and go into a rant etc BUT yeah this is an amazing site for people who are in financial trouble and its a huge help for us people who are already in their IVA's.

Im not sure there isnt a question that somebody does not have the answer to!

Like a lot of people i was reading this well before getting our IVA so that you had a pretty good idea before it started.

And yes it is run very well. Thanks to all the people who make this site work.

I was already on the way when I found this site but do wish I'd found it sooner.

We all have a rant baldy and it just lets off steam mostly.

It is a great site for support and advice and I have made some really good friends on here.

I've been a member now coming up to 4 years and visit almost daily, won't say I'm addicted as I won't allow myself to get addicted to anything as I find I have an addictive tendency so would withdraw for a few days if it became obsessive but I do enjoy this and frequent two dog forums too which I enjoy and have lots of friends on all 3. This is my private one though away from my other friends as none of them know of my financial difficulties but having said that when I first joined there was a thread about what does everyone do type of thread and I recognised one of my dog forum friends from that thread....I did get talking to her about financial difficulties and she now knows I am in an IVA and I know she was but concluded this with a F&F x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm sure I looked over this site, when I was doing some research into getting out of my hole back then, but never joined the forum until a year into the iva.

It is true you never know who else is in a iva. It's one of those secret clubs we are members of, but you can never be sure if the person across the street is in one too.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
