Hi guys, sorry to trouble you all with a negative story but were now quite concerned.
we have fell behind with the paying of our overtime payments and just havent seemed to be able to catch up.
Its been made worse by the fact that the last 2 months theres been no overtime and we just dont have enough without it.
last month we had to stop 2 d/ds and i have sold my wedding ring, a freind deals in metals so i got a good price, ill get another when were straight. The problem seems that our shopping and petrol allowances havent gone up in 2 years. we are scared of bankrupcy and worried that its heading that way. is anyone in a similar situation.
cheers

Hi marky,

You really need to speak to your IP about this. If you are struggling so much then perhaps you can have your payments reduced or have a new I&E done?

Do you have any assets that would be lost in bankruptcy? It might be that this is the best way forward if you can't cope. There is nothing to be scared of with BR.

Which company are you with? I can't remember.

Hi Kallis thanks for the reply, we are both worried about losing our house but if it was sold it would probly not quite clear the debts and outstanding mortgage, its like all the worries are sslowly returning.
hope all is ok with yourself.

I'm very well thank you, sorry to hear that you are really struggling. With BR you may not lose your house but the rules have changed now so the OR can keep hold of it for longer. Could you possibly find somewhere to rent and hand the keys back?

Hate sounding negative but just hoping we can help you sort something out.

Work out a new I&E - we're all suffering with the extra costs, especially with fuel! I am sure your IP will help you out.

Hi - have you spoken to your IP? You need to review your I&E so it is realistic. Once you've dealt with this you can work with your IP to find a solution to the overtime. Good luck - you shouldn't be struggling so much you're pawning your stuff. x

just read your post and couldnt believe how similar our experiences have been, we have had a year from hell with nearly everything in out house breaking down , eg boiler, washing machine etc etc. and we fell behind with paying over extra payments. we spoke to our ip and nearly all our amounts on our i&e were out of date which has now been revised. it has taught us a valuable lesson, good luck with everything
56 payments down 4 to go
