I don't much like seeing it in Black & White for all and sundry to see, ah well, not much I can do but get on with it.

Mine went on quite late about 2 years into my IVA, and still my address is wrong as i moved during the IVA process, probably why ive never got an ambulance chaser letters!! all went to my previous address, just hope the landlord has just put these in the bin and not read any of the letters!

Its still odd seeing it on there, but hey could be worse, could be attached to my facebook/twitter pages!!

Funnily enough it doeesn't bother me any more. I know that none of my work colleagues or my family and friends have any idea about the register so I'll just let it rest now until I've finished.

You are so right Jan, no one knows I guess it's just strange seeing it in b&w, my IVA is certainly not a secret with close friends and my mum so it shouldn't really bother me, I guess it's just a bit strange

It did bother me to start off with but I rarely think about it these days. I don't even get letters from the ambulance chasers anymore - I do wonder if they don't bother with people who have gone a fair way through their IVA's?

Kiss of death now probably - I'll get loads!!!

Someone said that details are supposed to get updated on the IR but i've moved 4 times since my IVA started and it still has the wrong details, so no ambulance chaser letters received. I do wonder how many i could have received though. I could have had some fun wasting their time :)

You guys are lucky!!

When I started any simple google search of my name or dob, would display records from this register.

Made few complaints to IVA-Register but no responsible replies - some how Google doesn't display any now a days.

Thanks
Aran

Think it is totally wrong for personal information to be displayed in the public domain available to anyone in the world, including Nigeria etc etc, it's a bit like public flogging.
Wish i was in a position to do something about it as I have already received a scam letter from china because of it.

It is totally wrong, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. Andy Davie has already petitioned to try and get it removed from the public domain but to no avail.

It does not bother me anymore either, though I totally agree with Andy & the petition for it to be taken down.

I too moved house 2 years ago, but my old address is still on file, plus they have spelled my first name wrong, even I could not even find me at first!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Mine was on within 2 days of our IVA being approved, I agree it's wrong, I don't even see what purpose it serves to be honest

I'm not on as yet, from April 15th! Not that I'm especially bothered of course [:D]
Final payment 1st April 2016.
Completion Certificate received 19th May 2016.
