Hi

My Dad passed away suddenly at the weekend. Could I ask my IP for a payment break to pay towards the cost of his funeral??

I have never had a payment break.

Thanks

So sorry to hear about your father.
Yes, you should definately speak to your IP and explain the sitation. I can't see any reason why he would have any problems with that.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father Kaza.

I agree with Lizzy, I don't think you'll have any problem with getting a payment break.

My condolences to you and your family.

I helped with my brothers funeral costs and my IP sanctioned a payment break to help with this.

Talk with your IP and hopefully all will be fine x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Sorry to hear of your news kaza. Can I just ask - did your Dad leave a spouse? If so, are they on any benefits? Only there may be a chance of a grant if so.

Hope you get your payment break ok if you need to take one.

x
