Hi All,

I thought you may all find it funny that I have just absolutely lost my rag at Santander!! They have been ringing me religiously for three times a day now and on the odd occassion they ring they give me another number to call who they say I need to tell that I am in an IVA!

Well I feel sorry for the very nice sounding 'Adam' that just rang. I flipped my lid and didn't give him a chance to get a word in edgeways. By the end he said that he couldn't apologise enough and that he could put it on my file (don't know why no one else that rang couldn't) and that I would be taken off the 'call' list!!

I won't hold my breath but it made me feel better!

Poor man! It can sometimes take a while for the IVA to be passed down to the people who actually need to know. I would have thought that it would have for you by now. Worth letting your case officer know.

Well done, really couldn't they get their act together before you had to lose your rag. I have *touch wood* received not one phone call since my IVA was accepted early this month, I think I'd lose my rag straight away if I did!

It isn't so much the fact they call to chase payment etc as I know it can take time to filter through but they always seem to call early morning or late at night and 3-5 phonecalls a day are enough to drive anyone bonkers!

Lizzy - my case officer knows as I forwarded a couple of letters that I sent as well. Thanks

I did say to the guy that I knew it wasn't his fault etc (I have worked in customer service myself so I know how it feels) but he did say he totally understood my frustrations!

I don't blame you pod - I'd be the same.

Hopefully they have got the message now and won't be pestering you again!

I hope so Kallis, it is nearly 24hours without a phone call so it is looking promising!!

Just seen about the frugal friends, I am so disappointed I can't come to meet everyone. Fingers crossed if there is one at Christmas I will be able to make it! I hope you all have a fab day.

Well I have just had another call. Once again I told them but today he looked me up on the insovency list online and found me! (1st time I have been greatful that I am on there). Today I went down the harrassment route which is why he knew I meant business I think and then said that now he can link it all up etc the calls and letters will stop! They also had another number on file for me which I didn't recognise so I feel sorry for whoever else has been receiving the calls!

After the harrassment part he went onto say that a few letters have been sent out already and he couldn't stop them so please understand and ignore them!!!

Let's see if thats stopped them!

good for you Pod_moo.

I found it quite stress-relieving after our insolvency was agreed when creditors called and often found myself toying with them somewhat!!!
