That's exactly my issue Paul, it's not even like it's pocket change either.

I might start sending them invoices for my time because I've spent about 12 hours in the last 5 months trying to give them money.....

I'm willing to give them a chance but a contract is a two way thing, I'm fulfilling my half........

I guess I am more mindful of the macro rather than the micro issues Paul. I do understand the difficulty of taking over cases from other practitioners, and hope that they manage to resolve their client service issues soon - which I assured they are dedicated to do.

The only complaint I have with GT is the waiting times when calling their customer services department.
Apart from that I can honestly say the service has always been first class and I would recommend them to anyone.
Thanks to them my life has been transformed and I will be debt free in 8 months time.

The number of posters on here complaining about Grant Thornton is an extremely small percentage of their overall portfolio and not in context with their overall service. No complaints are good ones at the end of the day for any IP - and yes they do happen in my firm too - so can we please let them come on here, and speak for themselves where they feel it is necessary to do so.
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST

I'm also with GT and have experienced the lack of customer care also. But after losing our Child Tax credits I rang on Monday morning, got through after a few minutes of waiting and they have adjusted the IVA payments accordingly.

I couldn't have faulted their service on Monday. Hopefully that shows that things are starting to pick up again.

GT are an excellent company with a good reputation. However, I get the impression that they were a bit unprepared for the work involved in taking on BE's book. Hopefully, whrn things have settled they will also start looking more sympathetically at the actions they are taking to "correct" BE's past arrangements.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Let's hope the GT rep posts soon to answer their clients concerns.

I'm sorry for dragging this one up again, but if GT do eventually get someone on here to represent them I think they will benefit from seeing how many people are actually unhappy about the service they are providing. I emailed them about an issue I have with my vehicle last week and also some general questions about the state of my IVA, this was on Monday. I recived a message from them asking to call on friday. this morning I tried to get through three times and all three times I was cut off by the operator not much after confirming my identity etc. (having been on hold for about 12 minutes each time). I then tried again this afternoon and managed to get through only to find that they weren't calling in response to my email but to see why I hadn't given a response in regard to the terms and conditions of my IVA (changed as formerly with BE). To this I replied, I have already told you that I will not need to change my T&C's as the account has been settled and is due for completion any day, actually paid the money over in early March. I have already sent the form back to you and also confirmed this about a month ago over the telephone. Then when I started to ask about the IVA in more detail and the telephone operative started to read into my account more I was UNEXPLAINABLY cut off again! I do realise that everything takes time and feel that I have been patient so far but I just get so annoyed when they refuse to answer my questions, questions which should be easily answered.
Rant over.

Rant away Stu - sounds as though the customer service you have been getting is dreadful!

Hopefully Andy can get the rep on board sooner rather than later.

I knew there was going to be a rep from Grant Thornton joining the forum soon, as this was mentioned in a previous post. Doesn't look like they have started posting yet. Why don't you put out a post with the heading "For the attention of the Grant Thornton expert" and see if you get a response. Might be worth a try.

I have also posted the same response on the other thread discussing GT.

Is this a duplicate post?
