I am Public Service, Brightside, and my progression has been halted under guise of the pay freeze, which lost me a £7k rise this year.
The pay progression for teachers isn't quite that dramatic! I'm glad we haven't lost it though or we may really have struggled. It must be really gutting to miss out on that much of a rise!

Lets hope this freeze isn't extended any longer!

Mine isn't, really -- that £7k represents 7 years progression. Our lot are unique in that you remain at the bottom of the scale for 7 years, then rocket to the top in one jump ( works out cheaper for them that way). This WAS my rocket year!!!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
