Where does this requirement come from Lisa. Was it written into your IVA proposal or modified in by creditors on the day of the meeting. It is unusual to have to pay in all of your overtime - and I would get your IP to tell you upon what clauses they are relying upon when they are requesting this money.

Hi Lisa

I only got accepted last Friday so not as experienced as other very helpful people on here . My IVA allows me to earn 10% of what I bring home before it effects it. Once I go over the amount it's 50 - 50.

Not sure if all standard conditions are the same as everyone else's but am sure some one will say !

Cheers Al x

Hi - did you agree to this clause? Overtime clauses come in a number of forms but none are more correct than others. Hope you get sorted with your IP x

that sounds very unfair, i am all for paying back our creditors as much as we can, but if i had to pay all of any overtime worked to them, then i would not work overtime at all, i would rather have quality time at home with family.

Quite agree kat. The only overtime I ever get is to work bank holidays. I have chosen to take this as time owed rather than get a days extra pay, even though it would be under 10% of my take home wage. I prefer the time at home.
