Hi,

I completed my full & final IVA back in 2009 and I am now in a position where i need a replacement car, mine has completely given up.

Obviously my credit file is still destroyed though so regular loan companies won't touch me. Are there any companies you guys can recommend who deal with people in this position ? I've searched the forums but could only find results from several years back.

I also don't want to just buy any old banger for a few hundred pounds which i've noticed a few people suggesting in the past. I use my car to transport my kids a lot so want it to be safe. Also the repair bills on old bagers can kind of defeat the purpose.

Thank you 1

Hi OllieB - Dunctons have been mentioned on here before but I am sure other posters will have other recommendations too from their experience.

Ollie - Dunctons was renamed recently(Moneybarn) - you you may find forum members have posted using the new name - their APR is high about 30.2% - and you need a deposit

Hi
I think Moneybarn are your best bet for finance, not aware of any other company that would entertain an application with an IVA still on your file
