I wouldn't worry about your re mortgage too much. They will probably just ask for an extension considering the current financial climate. It's extremely difficult to get a mortgage from anyone. I had our Equity release clause removed in Jan this year due to our separation. I kept the house but there was no way I could afford a bigger mortgage. They agreed to extend our IVA by 3 months.
