I too had a run in with BG. I queried why my gas bill was outrageously high and had to pay for an the privelege of having an engineer check my meter which surprise surprise was correct. My neighbour happened to mention that she kept on getting her gas bill as 0.00. Would they listen,no chance. Told me my neighbours bill was nothing to do with me. Coulden't afford to pay the bill so they installed a pay as you go meter which deducted the outstanding money automatically in stages. Bills were hell of a lot cheaper after that.
