Hi All
Just picking up on this thread and the first thing I would like to say is well done to Dizzy. It’s a bit late but congrats all the same and I was jhappy to help in any way I could.
One thing I would also like to confirm is that we never sell any client data - especially to companies like Portwood. As already mentioned, it would have been sourced from the Insolvency Service and we, like many of the fellow professionals frown upon the activities of companies like Portwood.
That's what I thought Declan - couldn't see you selling any details on.

Sorry only to be posting now following your comment last month Declan. We went on a last minute break for a couple of weeks around that time and this forum is so busy the post was well out of sight by the time I logged in again - only just found it again now.
I was quite confident that DFD would never have passed any client's details on in that fashion but thank you for putting everyone's mind at rest, also thank you again for all your help and support.
So frustrating to think that our (all those of us in an IVA) information can be sourced from the Insolvency Service and we can be targeted by unscrupulous companies but I am pleased to say it would seem the Portwood 'end of IVA' attempt was a one off. Hopefully now that we are off the register that will be the end of it!
On the subject of holiday spending, NE & Rosepetal, our break was a very reasonable last minute all-inclusive deal, we have never been on one before and although there were plenty of opportunities for spending outside the hotel, we brought nearly all of our holiday spending money back with us. I just didn't have any desire to shop and spend and I know our experience in an IVA has been instrumental in this new perspective on spending. The money is now in the kitty for Christmas and while there may be a few more treats than in the last 5 years we are determined not to go overboard!
