Your husband needs to remain strong. Do they have documentary proof that he was advised to read the policy - otherwise how would he know when it was last updated? Do they usually have to sign something to confirm they've read updates and new policies? I'm sure your husband's gut feeling will be right and everything will work out! This is just a painful procedure to endure to get to that point - big corporations love their bureaucracy!! What time is the meeting tomorrow?

Did I read correctly that your husband has only a £7k debt within the IVA ? Not sure if it would gel, but could he possibly state that maybe it was yourself who started the IVA and he did it as support for you ?
They dont need to know the truth, but maybe that would lessen it a bit ?
Correct most of the debt is in mine £13k but even though i had the larger my hubby being the supportive person that he is said we should go ahead if it would make life easier. They are aware of the amount but are requesting that he produce the whole document for their perusal.
I have contacted Julie who is unable to post at the moment due to problems with internet access where she is.
She's able to access her emails though so I have sent you her email address in the hope she might be able to give you some advice before this afternoon.
