Just got off the phone from DFD. Final payment has been received and I’ve now been passed over to their completion team. Standing Order now cancelled. A little bit of excitement when it was thought that I'd only made 59 payments (until they added the final payment to equal 60!)
Doesn’t 5 years fly when you’re having fun [:)]
Good luck to all those still in an IVA or about to start. – if I did it anyone can !!
Take care,
David

Great news Tigger - you can have a "virtual" celebration with Ivaniva too!
Best of luck with your debt free life - its no longer a future to aspire too, its here and now!

Strange feeling. I don't even have a mortgage anymore so no debts whatsoever. Irony is that back in the day I was trying to make as much money as possible to become debt free (before it all went wrong). But then again you've got to fall down before you can get back up
Can you keep us up to date on how well the compleation goes? Im with DFD and due to finish in 5 months but keep hearing lots on this forum about how slow it is to get your compleation certificate etc
best wishes and congrats again
Arty
IVA completion and certificate received 08/10/2012!!!
I have no desperate need for the CC (no more payments is enough for me). Therefore, it will probably be useful to note the timescale as I won’t be “pushing” for it.
