You should be able to contact them direct and seek their support and advice. Use the meet the experts page to locate Nick's details.

If you wanted to post a few more details, some of the experts may be able to offer you some unbiased guidance whilst you wait for your IP to come back to you.

Yes, it is OK to contact him -- he repesents the company on here along with his colleague, Lizzy.

We have not had one request for 1/4 payslips for review in year two.
I emailed our previous CO in August asking if they should have contacted if, yes they replied we will contact, nothing yet ( I keep every email) So I took it upon myself to send them in in October, then the problems began.
In the last three weeks we have had the a terrible time with Payplan.

1) I owe £230 please pay in 14 days, no explanation, just a demand to pay within 14 days
2) Then a letter saying my partner owed £98.00 and we have to increase our IVAS to repay this, again no explanation to where this has come from.
3)Then a new letter stating my partners November payment had not been received, can we check with bank.
4)Then an email stating we are not in any monthly arrears.
5) Then a new letter today stating my partner needs to pay in 14 days £68., an underpayment.

As we had no wage slip reviews for 6 months, then our actual wage monthly was different from the I&E figure (review done in Feb 2011).
TAX Code did change, giving a slight increase, and minimum wage for paul increased his wages in October. So we have 6months of underpayments.
We have stated in numerous emails to our current and previous CO's we have no problems repaying this, but we can't magic the lump sums, and have offered to swallow the arrears in the following 4 months in our payment, and also increase from the 6month review the additional payment required. I calculated all these figures for them, showed them how we could repay and offered the new monthly figure from today.
Todate they have not replied on any of the above, we are awaiting the compliance team, who are very thorough I am informed !
What really makes me mad is I have been chasing our CO since last week via email, today he emailed me to say nothing had been decided, yet today in the post from him paul received a letter about paying arrears, strange he failed to share that with me.
WHAT can I do, Payplan CO's were excellent last year, we did fantastic, but I am frightened and stressed we will fail, we are trying to do everything we can for our part, but getting nothing but demands for money we just can't pay them, and they are well aware of this.
Last month I paid out £350 for a clutch, Monday I am spending £250. on a cambelt change, plus the exhaust is cracked ! I keep Payplan upto date with everything, we pay our 50% additional income payments straight over as soon as earned.
Please help someone, I am being made to feel we are failures by payplan.

Sounds like you are getting very poor service from payplan. Hopefully Nick will pick up on this and get you sorted out.

You're not failing your IVA...you've just hit a bump in the road. These template letters are all very well for efficiency but they can cause a lot of trouble. This will all be sorted very quickly once you speak to an actual person. Good luck and keep persevering x

No wonder you're worried with a stream of letter/emails asking for more money at evey turn. I am sure when you get to speak to the right person at the office you can sort it all out but do not be fobbed off with anything that is not clear and you don't understand.

And yes, you can ask to speak to your IP directly - you have a right to speak to them especially if you are unhappy.

Do keep us posted and hope you get it resolved soon.

Hello
This morning I have tracked down the email address of of IP John Harrison, so I written a long email, detailing all the problems and I sent him the calculations I made to clear the underpayments and also the increased payment. I hope he can help us, as the demand letter yesterday I just don't the lump sum to pay, and I am sure we will get one very soon for my underpayment.
I wanted this all resolved and new monthly figure agreed for the 1st December so we could get straight and back on track, but that has not happened. I cannot do more than I am doing I want to pay just please leave me money to eat!
I feel very guilty emailing directly, fingers crossed he can resolve this for me.
Thank you again to everyone who takes the time to post back.

Why feel guilty? Dont forget in your IVA is Ip and admin fee's, you are paying for a service, so please dont feel bad or guilty, you IP isnt 'doing you a favour', their providing a service your paying for.

Hope you get it sorted soon

best wishes

Just caught up with this. What poor service you are getting at the moment from them and I hope you can get it sorted.

Payplan seem to be having a bit of a wobble at the moment, we've had trouble getting hold of our new case officer.

Like many other debt help companies is this a case of taking on too much work without the staff and infrastructure to cope. Profit before good service springs to mind.

Good evening, after hearing nothing today from Payplan I emailed my thread to Nick from Payplan as advised above.
If we clear all the underpayments and increase our additional wage 50/50 share we will have to increase our payments from £292 to over £400.
I am getting so upset and worried I feel like a payplan stalker !
I really thought all this worry was behind us.

Stalk them as much as you need to in order to get a satisfactory response.
