Hi All, I started my IVA in october 2011 prior to that I had some PPI claim in process and I had a phone call saying that money gone directly to my credit cards and not to me and I need to pay the PPI claiming company . I do not have any money to spare as I have just enough to pay IVA and my normal expenses so what to do? My IVA company cannot help me. Laurence

I'm not too sure TBH. How much are the fees? Can you reach a repayment plan with them?

Your IVA company can help you they are just choosing not to. Did you tell the IVA company when you set things up that you were in the process of reclaiming ppi? They should have warned you that you may end up with a bill.

The IVA firm should have known there was a great chance that any payment would go straight back to creditors and you would be left with a bill.

You could ask your IP for a payment break to allow you to pay the bill? Not really much else I can think of you doing. How big is the bill?

the payment is 29% of 1990 I cannot pay them anything or may be really tiny small amount. I have also one pending with Baarclays and I thing it is sucessfull but no idea on how much I will get. Do I need to stop this now or is it too late for Barclays ? All this process started last year and coming to completion only now. In one year lots of things happened . No idea what to do. Can anybody advise me? Thanks

You need to speak to your IP tomorrow! They must help you out as you were upfront with them and they were aware this situation might arise. The claims co may not let you drop the claim, after all, they have a stake in the win. Your IP needs to advise what steps you take next. xx

You cant stop the claim now as the company has already put in work towards it so you will get a bill regardless.

Discuss this with your IP,also discuss the reduction in your debt because of these payments.

Was you under the impression or advised at any time the full claim would be awarded back to you after the PPI company had deducted their fee? If so then they have mis-sold you the product and you have a right to appeal this charge.

You need to discuss this with your IP, you will be able to add the debt on if indeed you are liable for it.

At the time Lali started the claim he/she wasn't in an iva so the money would have come back to her. Unless lenders are just reducing outstanding balances for people not in ivas too?
