northumbrian69 congratulations on getting this far and best of luck for 2012, this post will be very helpful to those just starting an IVA and feeling as though it is neverending. You will all get there in the end with a bit of hard work and help is there if this starts to slip.

Congratulations again northumbrian69 :)

I'm afraid I'm an idle so and so at times - I do like to sit and do nothing and really don't mind not having a routine.

OT - I think that's a lovely idea.

Our first post IVA Christmas but everything was got beforehand anyway. I put money away each month for the Love to shop voucher things and got the girls' presents with them. For other people I have given my home brewed wines or home made jams and chutneys. I've packaged them up nicely and I think these are nice gifts, made with love in the kitchen in my country cottage home! A lot of people are going for the home made route these days I think.

Thankfully everything this year is sorted thanks to my surveys and the vouchers I get from doing them.

Couldn't imagine Christmas and birthdays without them.

Do you know Jan, the surveys are driving me mad, valued opinions keep sending me them but then I don't seem to qualify for any of them, any tips?

I have that problem as well lem. It really annoys me when I've been doing the survey for ages and then it decides I'm not suitable!

what annoyed me the most was a survey I was sent a few days ago, the first question was multiple choice and you had to choose which industry you worked in, the last option was 'none of the above' now I don't work in any of the options it had listed but instead of ticking 'none of the above' I ticked one of the other options and it immediately then discounted me!, so I think they are just a con, why on earth give you the option of something in the first question if that option is not what they are looking for?????

I quit Valued Opinions too...sent several complaints to them along the lines of doing 50% of a survey only to be told I didn't qualify..so they get all that time and info for nothing. Hmm. Not just me it has happened to either and yes, even getting to qualify for them at the outset was getting more and more difficult. I know others are much better though.

I get to do loads of those - have £40 of vouchers to spend this week courtesy of Valued Opinions. Don't always get accepted but I plod on anyway.

I do get annoyed sometimes but I persevere because it's worth it at the end of the year.
