Hi

I have recently had my second annual review approved, had one or two minor issues but these were resolved quickly.

Just want to say thanks once again to all at McCambridge Duffy for their help through the past year and, going into year three already, its good knowing if I have any questions or issues there is always someone at the end of the phone or email to help, advise and reassure if need be.

Great news wuffy - good luck for the rest of your term.

Hope you had a good festive season.

Hi

We have been with McCambridge Duffy since our IVA was approved and have found them to be very supportive and approachable.

They sort out any issues quickly and efficiently with no fuss or hassle. We would reccomend them to anyone.

Just wait till you get to the end of IVA and you get your completion certificate within a few weeks of making that last payment. Then you really know you picked the right company.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.

It doesn't matter which company you are with - if you have completed and got your letter then that should be enough.

I agree with you Jan, however we know that McCambridge Duffy are one of the firms seemingly closing cases more quickly than others.

It most certainly does matter which company you are with if a 'Windfall' situation were to occur months after making your last payment when you have completed your obligations.

People making that first step to resolving their debts problems need to think of this as one of the many decisions they need to make when selecting the IP to take them forward.

It doesn't matter what the company is - if you have not had your completion letter through then you are still tied into your IVA.

Point being made is they supply certificate in weeks not months.

Read up thread before making same statement twice.

Some companies take more than a few weeks and there is nothing we can do about that.

I had read the thread - doesn't matter if things are repeated.

Trouble is Herbekj, as we have seen in the past, what a company manages to do one year isn't always what they manage to do the next! Many companies were far better than they are now, before they got hit with the VAT bug. EDven within companies some clients get their certificates quickly, whilst others are left waiting (some of the delays are down to creditors messing about with their claims).

The agreed PC format builds in a 6 month admin period and some firms, rightly or wrongly, use it. Incidentally, once the final payment is made the IP is no longer getting fees, so will want to get shot of dead wood as quickly as possible.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Well said Foggy.

Whether we agree with the way companies work or not, the truth is that completion letters take time to sort out - sometimes longer than others and there is nothing we can do about it.
