Hi.
Does anyone know of any companies that will refinance a £4000 balloon payment whilst in an IVA?
Thanks

Have u tried the company that you have the loan with?
I was lucky with Citroen Fiance that they allowed me to pay the balloon part over 2 years.
They told me that they didnt do any more credit checks and went off my payment history. As it was all up to date and no missed payments it was all sorted in a day.
Hope you find someone to help you. If not could a family member help out?

Hi
I was with ford and i had been paying for my car for 3 yrs with them no problems, all payments up to date, never missed or late.I had also put in a £4k deposit at the beginning of the finance (my p/x st the time) but when it came to the balloon payment being due they would not refinance it for me purely because i was now in an iva!!!!. Gutted as i then lost my car.
I know some companys will refinance so it depends who you are with. ford will not.

An IVA is a long hard road but valuable lessons have been learnt along the way. Now looking forward to enjoying a debt free future!
