Hi all,
Have my lovely completion certificate in my grubby hand after 5 long years. I have experians details as I joined for a month to get a look at my post IVA file.

Does anyone know the details of the other firms I need to send a copy to.

Thanks in advance

Steve

Hi,

There's Call Credit and Equifax as well. Your IP should inform them though that the IVA is completed.

You need to send a copy to any creditors that have defaulted you since the date of IVA acceptance and tell them to remove the defaults.

Hi,
Won't the defaults just drop off the credit file after 6 years anyway?

They will but if the creditors have been defaulting every month (as some of mine have) it will be six years from the date of the last default which could potentially mean that they are on there for a further six years after completion.

You've been lucky then. It is a pain that they do it but at least you know that they have to remove them at the end.
