Hi and welcome to the forum.

You will be able to have a bank account, just not one associated with your creditors. Co-op basic account is highly recommended. Don't touch HSBC or First Direct are they are well known for closing accounts for people in an IVA. You can choose your own bank.

Have a word with an expert - visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews and give one or two a ring for some free advice.

Hi

I opened a Barclays cash card account before my IVA started, no problems.
