My Equifax credit report that I view online only contains my current, and previous 2 addresses.

I want to be sure my IVA has dissappeared from it. I had to contact Experian with my completion certificate to get it removed, and thought I might have to do the same with Equifax

I'm worried that my IVA isn't listed on there because the address I live at when it commenced isn't there, although the one remained default, which should dissappear after today, is on there, and that was when I lived at the unlisted address as well.

Do you think I should be concerned?

Is it over 6 years since the date of acceptance of your IVA? if so then it would drop off automatically anyway so I wouldn't be too concerned. although I think Equifax can be a little it lax when it comes to updating their files compared to experian

Yes 6 years passed in November. I would expect it to drop of automatically. The only thing that makes me uneasy about that is I checked my Experian one last month, and it was still there. They only removed it when I queried it and sent them a copy of my completion certificate

If it is over 6 years then it no longer stays on your files and therefore creditors will no longer see that you were once under an IVA. However, some banks / finance lenders do keep internal records longer than 6 years so if you attempt to gain credit from a previous creditor they may still say no due to their internal records.

My husbands only dropped off when he sent the Completion certificate, but it took some time. With equifax you can raise concerns online and I think you can scan your completion certificate and attach it with your online question. At least I think you can... you may need to check this out.

The IVA record will ONLY be deleted after 6 years IF it has been marked as completed.

If it is NOT marked as completed, usually done automatically by the insolvency service but some slip through the net, then it can still show up after the 6 year drop of date as you can see.

Yes you can, and indeed I did just that sometime back.
