On reading through my documentation I've noticed that one creditor has not made a claim 4 years in. It appears that this is HMRC for overpayment of tax credits of £249 made prior to setting up the IVA. I am sure this amount was recovered by them through reduced payments the year after?!!
We are now not entitled to tax credits and all money seems to be paid in full to them. What will happen at the end of the IVA with regards to this? I am worried as I don't know if I've kept documentation to prove this.

Hi kitty,

No idea on this one - speak to your IP about your worries although they will still be bound by the IVA as the debt was included.

Thanks kallis,

I have a little while yet as I'm on a 6 year IVA but just want things in order so it runs smoothly at the end.

Hi nittykitty

If you don't have the documentation from tax credits you can ask them for a copy. It might be worthwhile asking them to send you copy of your award notice for the year following the overpayment. This would then show if you paid back the £249 in full through reduced tax credits that year.
