Hi everyone, we are now in our seventh month since our final payment still no completion certificate from DFD.I understand there have been delays with vat and such but just a letter or email to keep us posted would help. We have rang them but all customer service say is our case is with the closure dept. We have emailed Declan and are waiting to hear back. Is Declan the only person at DFD who deals with clients [?] this is so wrong.

It is frustrating I do agree, I further agree that a quick generic email to let clients know they're not forgotten goes a long way when you're awaiting completion.

Sorry I've no constructive advice for you and hope you received that certificate very soon. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Oh dear! This doesn't bode well for me then, I completed with DFD in January!

I would find some comfort that your case is in the closure department & I can only imagine how frustrating it is waiting, I think I will be the same at the end of ours.

Hang in there I'm sure it will be through soon x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Hi Twinkle sorry to read you are still waiting - it does keep you in limbo somewhat and a quick update letter would be a good idea just to keep in touch. Declan will not be the only persona dealing with clients (bless him he'd never come up for air!) but he is the public face of DFD on this forum so the one most people turn to. I am sure they are doing what they can but keep the pressure up to get an update.

Hi Twinkle
I will keep the pressure applied to our closures team on this as I know it’s frustrating. I have our contact details so will give you a better update however i would ask that you email me regularly for updates as it will give me the prompt I need. You would be surprised how many emails I get every day!

Thanks

Thanks Declan, we really are grateful for your help and support. We recieved an update at the weekend, thats all we needed, we now know where we,re up to. Debt Free have been really good and sorted all our financial problems something we couldn,t have done on our own just the problems with closure but we now understand this is caused by the vat issues and is really out of any ones control. Once again thankyou very much for your help don,t know what we would have done if you did not post on here xxxxx
