Full and final offer timescale?

Hia

i had to come clean to my Mum after three years of an IVA that we had one as she wanted to put the house in my name as a "gift" i didnt want anything bad to happen so had to tell her about the IVA, anyway the chat was actually quite a good one and she said she was in the position to lend £6000 as a full and final offer. I called IVA company who i have only ever spoken to 3 times in three years and i have 23 payments of £300 left to make. the lady i spoke to said the offer of £6000 would be looked at favourably by the creditors and i have never missed or been late with a payment so have had a good record, anyway from working out i should have just over £7000 left to pay so do you think 6000 will be ok? i emailed in to put it in writing about this only being available to use as a full and final but what are the next stages? has anyone else been through this, it seems like i can actually sleep at night now thinking this may be over but not sure how long i will have to wait for an answer!!

Thanks in advance

flynn - good luck on the F+F offer - not an expert on these so will leave any advice to them.
Just make sure you indicate the money is ONLY AVAILABLE for the F+F offer

IP's have to give creditors 28 days notice of a variation meeting so won't be too long to wait flynn.

Good luck!

Hia All
Quick update, sent letters off of proof of money and letters needed, just a wait now as date has been set for 11th July, fingers crossed we are very nervous...what happens after meeting? if accepted will they need anymore paperwork from me or will it just be payment of settlement and then its over??! so exciting but dont wanna get hopes up, has anyone been through the process? IP thinks has really good chance of being accepted :-)

Hi Flynn
I had mine accepted at the end of May......they sent me a letter with all the confirmation,, we then sent the cheque off to them.
Weve had confirmation that they've received that...now we have to wait for the completion certificate, but they've told me that may take time due to the VAT issues.
But our IP told us that it's basically it.
Good luck for the 11th...I'm sure it will be fine.
