I am over half way paying my IVA and have now been instructed to claim back my PPI paid. Do my creditors get a percentage of this like a windfall payment or does the whole lot get deducted from the total I am paying bakc?

Hello,

It will be split between your creditors but will not be deducted from the amount you pay back unless you can manage to pay back 100p in the pound plus fees.

One positive thing for you is that by doing this now and having any potential claims cleared up midway you will not suffer the problems others have had because of the PPI claims delaying the issue of the completion certificate when you reach the end of your journey.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.
