If they are paid into your bank and they are on your statement then it should be ok.

Just check with your IP though.

Hi, I would think the bank statements tell it if that is what the IP requests but if you have the letter then to put a copy in wouldn't hurt. I assume this is for a review?

If in doubt check with your IP they'll be best placed to advise. How's it going? x

yes, im very stressed because my benefits are paid into a different account which is online, the reason for this was to keep both accounts active as after an iva it isn't so easy getting a decent account. will a print out of statement do??

You can ring the benefits office (08456088503) and ask them for a proof of benefits letter which states the benefit the weekly amounnt and how long you have been getting it for

Best of luck

If the extra money is for the disabled child that and you require this to maintain a good quality of life for the child then surely this will be given to you for this. They have no reason not to believe you and like sjbyron says ring them and ask for proof of benefits letter and I'm sure this will confirm the benefit is for the child. x

As far as I know any benefits will count towards you disposable income but any extra expenditure will be offset.

Good luck x

I have to agree with Skippy - your additional expenditure arising from the disability will be taken into consideration. Only your surplus income will go towards the iva.
