Hi, does anyone know if there is a web serch I can do to find a local solicitor who can help me with advice as I am really struggling to deal with a complaint myself at the moment?
Thanks Gina.gu, I have received another letter this morning and they are not answering my questions properly so I am getting nowhere. I need help with this now as it is really getting me down and I am finding it difficult trying to deal with this in work etc.
I can imagine your frustration. I would enquire and explain the nature of your request when making the appointment and I'm sure they'll find you someone appropriate to give you some advice.
It's a shame it's come to this though. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
It certainly is Lesley, such a shame as its nearly the end and things seem to be going wrong, I dont want to complain I just want done with it but the IP is certainly not working with me which is very frustrating
Hi Ames1 sorry to read you are having difficult time towards the end of your IP. Have you gone though the internal complaints procedure with the IP and spoken to their governing body? That might also be a route for help which would not be as costly.
Either way hope you get your issues resolved.

Thanks Tina, gone through internal complaints but not getting anywhere, if anything it has got worse, not gone to governing body as yet as only got info today, not sure what they will be able to do apart from give them a 'ticking off'. Dont want to get solicitor advice as that will just burden me with more costs to pay but not sure what else to do Very upsetting and depressing
Hi ames1 I have just been through the governing body and they are investigating hat happened in my case . They seem very professional and I emailed on monday and got a 1st class letter on wednesday by reply. Plus an email today saying what's happening. I only want something in place so it doesn't happen to someone else. They wll tell you if they can help you and are very to the point about what they canand cannot do.
May I add also that my solicitor couldnt/wouldnt act anyway until I had a reply from my ip or governing body so as luluj says try the governing body first. Its cheaper too. Email your iva company-p and inform them what you are doing too. They may move a bit faster, mine did anyway
