Closure at the end of 5 years

I have a few months left to complete my IVA and I want to know what happens then and what information I need to give them to close the file ?

Has anybody in here gone through that process recently

Hi Lucy Lou and welcome to the forum

Your IP may insist on investigating the PPI issue, which could hold things up as other posters are experiencing. If they have sent you paperwork to return, then do get that back to them as soon as you can.

Usually you will just need to send in your wage-slips for the past year, and confirmation that you have received no windfalls over the year.

Have a lovely holiday - after five long years I bet you deserve one!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

As melanie says they will investigate the ppi .I have just completed with dfd and I was not mis sold and am 100 per cent sure I did not have it and did not claim. However if you have seen my recent post on forum if I knew what I knew now then I would have just claimed . It can take 6 months though. Best of luck

The PPI is ok no claims just wanted to know what they asked for
So just wage slips and thats it ? Or do I need to send bank statements again and P60 ? coz I can keep them when they get delivered in the next month or 2
If its just wage slips thats cool I hate paperwork

Also there is still quite a large back log of those who completed 6 months ago to yet be completed due to the VAt issues, DFD are currently doing mass variation but there still months behind.

I didnt get asked for anything pre copmpleteion, apart from the PPI paperwork.

Arty
IVA completion and certificate received 08/10/2012!!!

Just drop Declan an email Lucy - he'll be able to check that you have made your last payment.

Cheaper than a phone call!!!
