Morning All

Just curious - has anyone received theirs from Payplan in recent weeks? (just trying to get a feel for where they are up to with their backlog & reassurance that they are actually closing cases!)

Thanks!

Hi,

No idea - I've not heard much on here to do with Payplan recently, it all seems to be GT and DFD!!!

I've not heard of any undue delays but I'm sure someone will be along who's had some experience.

I finished mine at the end of March, I was origionally told approx. 3 months but realistically looking at the very least 6. I have been told that the delays have caused by the VAT situation.

Thanks Janey - the wait is intolerable! I've been waiting 3 months however I really feel for those waiting 12 months+ to see a closure to their file. It really is disgusting - we're only on this planet for a short time and to see people subject to the IVA restrictions for well over a year after their final payment is really quite shameful. For a few extra quid per creditor, lives/careers are being putting on hold and more. Fingers crossed I see my CC soon.

I totally agree with you, I have mentioned previously that I wasn't informed about there being a problem until I contacted them after 3 months waiting. I am aggrieved that if we didn't keep them informed about changes that could have meant that our IVA failed. This whole situation is absolutely disgusting, not only with Payplan but most IVA companies, all I want to do is get on with my life and move on. Having said that the rest of my experience with Payplan has been positive.

Payplan rarely post on the forum these days, and it is unlikely that this will get picked up over the weekend. Hopefully Gemma, their current spokesman may pick this up on Monday, but you are likely to be asked to contact them with your enquiry directly.

Hi. My F&F was July 2012, so it's very early in the process. However, my CO stated approx 3 months, even after I'd mentioned PPI & VAT - we'll see!!
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

I finished mine at the end of March and was quoted 3 months however this passed and I spoke to Payplan and again quoted a further 3 months which will take it to September. To be honest not really holding much hope it will done by then.

No idea why the lack of a cert puts peoples lives careers on hold ?

I need to chase mine, completed over 3 months ago now.

One poster's husband was going to lose his job because his IVA wasn't closed. He couldn't be on the insolvency register and so needed his C of C.

Anybody who works, or wants a job in the financial sector, may find they have trouble until they have that completion letter.

Same with applying for some other jobs.

Hopefully all will get their certificates soon.
