Good advice, thank you. I will advise her to look out for just that and especially with the Payday Loan companies. Payplan did say that they have a good relationship with creditors so they seemed confident that they could get the balances frozen. I just hope they are correct.

Hi All

Just to let you know that Julie had her review call with Payplan yesterday (on hew own) and she has agreed a joint deal for her and Darren at £837 per month. This means that she should (could) be debt free in 69 months. She sounded very upbeat on the phone now that she realises that there is a solution, she hasn't committed a crime and she doesn't have to lose her home (all the things you do worry/think about when the realisation of the financial mess you are in becomes apparent). I am very pleased for her and thanks all for your great advice.

That is great news Paula - she must be relieved that the important first hurdle is over and that she now has a firm acting for her that will hopefully get those debts under control.
