Hi

As we all know the PPI reclaim in IVA's has been a very hot topic for many months, infact if I had a pound for everytime PPI was mentioned on the forum I would be retired and laying out on a beach in St Lucia !!

I have a major newspaper interested in printing an article about this subject and am looking for a case study to give the paper a brief interview over the phone and to have their photo taken

I have some vouchers available for anyone who would be prepared to do this so please contact me using the link below or via andy.davie@iva.co.uk

Regards
Andam Davies

Hi Andy. I'm not able to help but I just wanted to wish you the best with this article, which is a very important (and sometimes contentious) for so many. Could you please let us know when it's going to press?
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

I just hope that a concise and factual editorial is written, some papers would love to cause a real fuss over something that most in the financial sector are trying hard to resolve.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Such as IVA companies delaying completion of an IVA to maximise profits from ppi claims? And the use of claims managment companies charging 30 to 40 % of a sucsesful claim?

I would love to help out in this Andy but have been doing my time for the last 6 1/2 years so not keen to now broadcast that I am still in an IVA.
7 years after starting an IVA I finally received a completion certificate from ClearDebt

Hi TMH i have answered your other post, i would deal directly with your IP to be honest and it is your right to know what is happening to your IVA! I'm sure that other IP's will be disappointed to see this posing re customer services.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

A great idea to get this into the public domain Andy. Maybe the article can also highlight the total disregard that some IP firms have for the Data Protection Act when they pass confidential details of clients (and ex-clients for that matter) onto claims companies without first obtaining the requisite permission to do so.
Completion certificate received 31 March 2012.

It is a great idea but it's finding someone willing to 'come out' and not be bothered about publicity.

We have done a couple of interviews to do with the IVA and would do it again.

Can't do PPI as we never had any otherwise we'd be there.

Hi we have recently finished our IVA with a full and final settlement provided by a third party. We believe we don't have any PPI to claim but a cold calling company insists my partner has..if we claimed does it have to be paid into the IVA now that it is closed and the certificate has been received by us or can we pay it into the IVA now that it is completed?

I know its been a long time since i posted a comment, but bthanks for your help.
Back in march i paid a full and final with varden nuttall.
First thing to say is that i was really pleased with the service i received from all the people i deal with there.
However it is sept i i havent received a confirmation that this has been completed.
i need this to send to all my crediters (i know they will have a copy but just in case),but most important is i need to send one to the credit agency (experian etc)
I have spoken to Garath from VN who has help me and i would like to know if there is anything i can do to speed up the process.
VN said that the delay was to do with the ppi claims but itis out off there hands.
Any advise would be really helpfull.
kindest regards
craig

Andy, we at Varden Nuttall would be happy to contribute as well. The previous posters are correct. The more publicity that this issue receives the better for all concerned.

Hi All - I haven't been around for a little while. disappointing to see this is still an issue for so many people.

Hopefully someone will stick their head above the parapet! This issue needs some publicity to help get things resolved.
