It's all over now and that's the main thing! You can move in knowing you are debt free and ready to do whatever it is you want to do. It's just a shame you had to do the work yourself! x

Unfortunately it is the odd case like this, which does tar the brush so to speak about members of my profession generally. Whilst we don't know the full facts of this case, and the fees may well be fully justified, it is the lack of communication between IP and client which surprises me.

Thankfully, the vast majority of IVAs run very smoothly, with good relationships between IP and client.

Without the IP taking all that money in fess, my creditors would have got far more than they eventually did, which was what an IVA is all about in the end. I am really sorry if it sounded snide, please accept my apologies - it was not intended to be so and well done for completing your IVA
