Now you have past their checks i think they would change the account to a Readycash account if you asked them too, alternatively the Co op cashminder is a very good account. :-)

thanks for the replies all, ive spoke to yb. they said i can still transfer my dd''s to the account i have now and change to ready cash with a simple phone call during week(as it was weekend when i rang).

i suspect the first advisor i spoke to from yb must have been due to finish her shift and told me anything to get off the phone quick.

now i can concentrate on sorting the supporting documents for the proposal. big day today! 1st time iv ever missed a payment as dd cancelled, feel abit uneasy!!!

Don't worry Bishop it is all part of the process and everyone has been in the same boat but I know the first time you do it does feel weird!

We look forward to receiving your docs and getting things underway. Hope you get the YB account sorted soon.

hi again everyone,

iv just about got all supporting documents together. im arranging a house valuation and every estate agent iv phoned state they dont usualy do a written valuation and theres over a week waiting for appointment. am i asking the question wrong?? all i am saying is im contemplating selling and would like a written valuation so i can compare.

also i notice that zoopla and right move can give valuations and that the price that is showing is roughly what i thought my house is worth although on the lower side.

Hi Bishop,

When I tried to obtain my valuation, it was difficult, but in the end, I simply told them that I may need to move for work and could they give me a price for if I oput it on the market today. They gave me the price after a 'drive by' and were kind enough to put it in writing ( although they did not send it on headed paper, they sent if from the company email with their details on ).

PS, I am with Susan of Mel's team and they are fab !

I had an estate agent round but he ignored my request for a written valuation, in the end Mel suggested a drive by valuation though her [:I]
