Likewise -- with all the moans and groans the IVA is certainly the best option for me (well -- actually, BR might have been, but that was MY choice!). Without it I would have gone round the proverbial bend !!! (maybe I have already !!!! )
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Thanks for everyones input on this, as I mentioned in my initial post, we would be willing to sign away any rights to any post IVA PPI claims if this would satisfy, to stop later problems holding up completion.

Any PPI we may have had in the past is exactly that for us, in the past. I don't think this contributed to the amount of overall debt we managed to rack up.

When all is said and done, we don't feel we were mis-sold, we have no intention of making a claim ourselves, and don't understand the policy of claiming money from a creditor to pay back to the creditor?

We do understand the reasons why people are advising to let it go ahead and run its course smoothly, but the principal (in our opinion) doesn't seem right.
