hi there icap9912

I got an iphone5 on tmobile 6 weeks ago; whilst i had made my last IVA payment and was awaiting completion certificate, they would not have known this as the IVA is still on my credit report and I have a default thats still showing, so based on this i would expect you would be ok

other posters had intimated this to me but whilst stood at the Tmob counter completing the paperwork etc I was sure i would be rejected but it went though no problem
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

Hope the above has reassured you and you're able to get a nice new phone. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi
Give it a try they can only say no at the end of the day its commission for a sale and if you go in and chat with them
Some internet applications are more likely to go through to again buck up sales maybe try at the end of the month >??
Or go in and sweet talk them Personally stick to PAYG as you know where you are up to and you dont get stuck in a contract for 2 years and being in an IVA the less per month going out the better

I found when I had a PAYG I spent a lot more than I ever did on contract. I also didn't like not having a new phone!

I love having loads,of minutes and texts and unlimited internet when I'm away from home. I don't have to worry about running out of credit either.

Can't wait until next year when I can upgrade.

Hubby has PAYG and it's fine for him as he hardly uses his phone but I personally prefer the contract. He has the hand me down phones from me. x

Just a quick update..
Carphone warehouse with Orange got declined.
Carphone warehouse with Tmobile "ACCEPTED"!!
So anyone else out there who wants a contract, either go to Carphone or Tmobile direct.
I got a samsung Galaxy Ace with a free samsung tablet
paying £21pm

Good luck all.

Ian
