Hi and welcome.

I take it you are looking to rent?

I would suggest coming clean to any letting agent if you are thinking of moving house.

I doubt that you will "pass" a credit check, but there is no reason why a landlord should penalise you as a prospective tenant just because you are in an IVA. People who are still juggling and struggling with their debts are a far greater risk to future rent defaults. As Niobe sauys - always best to come clean and then let the letting agent see what they can find for you.

Hi Charlie..I'm currently in the process of moving and obviously 'failed' the credit check but I was informed by the agent it says 'proceed with guarantor' x
When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long...the past cannot be changed. It is the present and future that counts
